On July 20th, 2006, Will Vossen passed away after battling cancer for eight years. Willie and I dated in high school. He took me to the junior prom - which was one of the best nights of my life - and he was one of the first people I ever dated who showed me true respect, kindness, understanding, patience, and more. We broke up shortly after he was hospitalized for the cancer and starting treatment because I went and decided to become a drug addict for awhile. I wish I would have stayed in closer contact. I just it just goes to show you that you never know when you're going to lose someone you love. Fucking harsh life lessons. Obituary
My head hurts. I just found out today so I didn't get to go to the funeral. I tried to contact him a few weeks ago but never heard back. I just wish I could've told him how important he was to me and how sorry I am that I hurt him. I will never forget him and I will always love him. Current Mood: sad

Just a few questions...
okay, the first one is mostly for DD, is the year of the dirties still up? I've been having high school flash backs, and i wanted to show it to a friend, but i don't know if it exists still.
The second question is for anyone who graduated in 1998, did we get to keep the cap and gown? Current Mood: curious

I seem to be the oldest person yet to post, having graduated HHS in 1994. I recognize a few of you, though, and I will be interested to see what comes up here. My name is Katie MacDonald. I'm still living in the Twin Cities, though I have crossed the river to St Paul. Currently back in school, only the gods know why. I was bummed not to hear about my 10-year reunion until after the fact, so if anyone knows anyone who went, I'd like to hear about it.

I am here...
What a great idea for a community. I love memories and this will be very interesting to relive some high school times.
This is Amanda Morris. I graduated from Hopkins High in 1997. I then somehow managed to end up back in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky where I went to University of Louisville with a major in Psychology. I got my bachelor's degree in May 2003 and am now working on applying to get my master's in Educational and Counseling Psychology at University of Louisville. While I love where I am living now, I do miss many parts of Minnesota sometimes and my boyfriend of three years, mikewhy
and I, plan to go to Hopkins to visit in the summer of 2004, and I plan to drive by and have a look at Hopkins High. I am sure I will be in for a shock at the changes since I have been there last. Current Mood: nostalgic
The welcome post.
Hey welcome to the community. I am sure that some of you have at one point or another become curious of where people have gone since school. Lots of things happen in your life and you wonder where the people that you used to hang out with on a daily basis have gone. Well here is a good portal for us to try and track down where people have gone and what they are up to. Feel free to share as little or as much as you feel up to. Let's keep this on-topic and create a good resource.
My firstname is Richard and I appar in the middle of the alphabet. I graduated in 1996 from Hopkins. I then went straight to the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. on May Day 2004.
